On 2 May 2022, a workshop takes place on strengthening interdisciplinarity in Horizon Europe. The European Commission did many efforts to strengthen interdisciplinarity in Horizon Europe compared to Horizon 2020. However, the Belgian universities think additional changes are needed. Together with the Belgian Programme Committee Members of the Horizon Europe clusters and the European Innovation Council, we therefore would like to exchange on the framing issue we see, provide best practices and present showcases before brainstorming on possibilities for improvement.
